Navajo Lake

Navajo Lake is a natural lake formed when lava flowed across the east end of the valley.
Water leaves the lake through sinkholes reappearing at Cascade Falls which flows into the Virgin River, part of the Colorado River Basin and Duck Creek flows into the Sevier River which is part of the Great Basin.

It’s a very beautiful place with lots of holiday homes, we did think of exploring Cascade Falls, but the storm clouds from Cedar Breaks were headed our way so we decided it probably wasn’t a particularly good idea.

Have fun, we are!
